Rare decanter in Baccarat crystal. Model designed by Georges Chevalier and made by Baccarat, created in 1946. The serrated ridges of the cork recall the silhouette of the Pyrenean massif which it bears the name.Extract of "Baccarat 250 years" from Rizzoli, page 348. Presented at the exhibition "The art of glass" at the Museum of Decorative Arts in Paris in 1951, presented at the exhibition of Japan of 1998 and 1999. We also find Maladetta at the exhibition "Baccarat 250 years" in Paris in 2014. Height with cap: 12.71. Height without cap: 10.62.
